Amir Hasan is a photographer, photo educator and a designer. He was born in 1987 in the north west of Bihar state in India and brought up in Shillong, Meghalaya and now lives and works in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Having made the decision to proceed further with Photography, he moved to New Delhi after completing Graduation from Meghalaya and started working as a Photographer in various fields. his photographic portfolio spans the mix genre of photography
Amir became a photographer back in 2005. Not too long after picking up his first SLR, Amir jumped into the professional field in Meghalaya. His work has published in magazines and newspapers in the state like The Shillong Times, The Guardian and worked for NGO’s publication. He has also worked for Press Information Bureau, Directorate of Public Relations.
He regularly hosts photography workshops in Shillong with the help of NGOs where he teaches basics and does practical sessions to train photography enthusiasts.
In 2010, he founded Visionimpact Films, a brand name for commercialising photography.
